For Fall/Winter 2016, Claudia Li has left us in awe. Filled with asymmetrical lines, long silhouettes, and layered fabrics, Claudia Li revealed an alluring story of a deep emotional and mental revival. The surrounding dark ambiance left a touch of mystery for the audience to interpret. Similar to her past collections, Li’s vision was quite clear and refreshing. Recycling the utilization of yarns and sheer fabrics, Li signatured her artistic trademark as a young designer.
Worn by every model, Converse signified the importance of simplicity, a theme that repeated throughout the show. From Shiseido’s barely visible makeup, to the relaxed hair by Cutler, Claudia Li emphasized how important it is to be comfortable in your own skin.
Claudia Li introduced vegan leather dresses, bandeaus and bottoms in black and berry red. Denim two pieces were quite prevalent throughout the collection as well, inspiring the trend to live on. Parallel to last season, Li’s signature yarn was integrated into jacket sleeves and dresses. The structured bell sleeves and leather accessories pulled the collection together effortlessly.
Claudia Li impressed us all with her deep architectural visions and relaxed vibes for Fall/Winter 2016.
