The Story
This sequence pulled from a day at Dad Clothes embraces pulling over to the side of the road to experience what is intended to only be viewed in passing; a roving plastic flock of flamingos, the upturned Jacuzzi parade, the settlement of empty lonely sheds. The quixotic nature and abstract quality of the phrases embody a penchant for both seeking out the anomalies tucked away in our modern routines and then taking the time to absorb them, to hold them as in a long breath underwater. Dad Clothes strives to translate the same impetus found in abstract art, at once interpretive as well as suggestive, to wearable moments of weird bathed in individually structured meaning. Shirts.
